PURCHASES:
- Brand New Devices:
- Phones, Laptops, Consoles, and Tablets come with a 12-month warranty.
- Gaming PCs come with a 24-month warranty. Extended warranty can be purchased upon request.
- Refurbished & Used Items:
- These come with a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase.
- Refunds & Exchanges:
- Strictly no refunds on used/refurbished items. Exchanges are allowed within 7 days, and the item must be in its original state. We reserve the right to reject any device or claim if these conditions are not met.
- No refunds on deposits or special orders.
- Warranty Process:
- Please retain a copy of your receipt (either in digital form or hard copy) for warranty claims. We are not responsible for the loss of receipts, and failure to provide one may result in the rejection of your warranty claim.
COUPON/VOUCHER TERMS:
Coupons/vouchers are valid only for the following items:
- Accessories (all types)
- New and refurbished mobile phones
- Tablets
- Consoles and laptops
Note: Some PC parts and gaming PCs are excluded from discount vouchers.

REPAIR TERMS:
- Warranty & Repairs:
- Devices with broken, scratched, or cracked screens are not covered under warranty. We recommend insuring your device for physical or liquid damage coverage.
- Any service performed on your device may void the manufacturer’s warranty unless genuine parts are used.
- No warranty for water damage, jailbroken/rooted devices, or devices previously repaired by another service provider.
- Data Backup:
- Repairs may require software or hardware resets. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up data prior to repair. We are not responsible for any data loss.
- Parts Warranty:
- 90-day warranty on parts installed by Tech Repairs, excluding accidental damage, liquid damage, user negligence, scratches, or acts of God.
- No warranty on parts not purchased from Tech Repairs.
- Repair Fees:
- Customer is responsible for labor/bench fees if they request any services to be reversed.
- A diagnostic charge/bench fee of £20 will be applied if the device is deemed beyond economical repair.
- Customer is responsible for repair attempt fees if the device is fixable.
- Unpaid Devices:
- Devices left unpaid will be held for a maximum of 60 days. After this period, the device may be sold or recycled to cover costs.
- Virus/Malware:
- Virus or malware infections, or corruption of the Windows operating system, are not covered under warranty.
SHIPPING:
- Free shipping is available on selected items or orders over £100*.
- Dispatch and delivery times may vary during holidays or festive periods.
UNLOCKING TERMS:
- Unlocking service timeframes may vary during periods of high demand or holidays.
- Blacklisted/Barred phones cannot be unlocked through the normal service. For premium service, please contact us at 01382-528579 or info@techrepairsdundee.co.uk.
- A full refund will be issued if we are unable to unlock the device or if the service is unavailable.
- No refunds will be issued if the phone is blacklisted during the unlocking process or if an incorrect network is selected.
- Once unlocking has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
