Tech Repairs Dundee started with a simple idea: do good work, treat people fairly, and help wherever we can.
What began in 2015 as a small phone repair business quickly became something much more. We have always been genuinely passionate about technology and problem-solving, and from the beginning we wanted to be the kind of repair shop people could turn to when they needed an honest answer — not just another sales pitch.
Before long, customers started bringing us the jobs other repair shops had described as “unrepairable”: water-damaged phones, dead logic boards, devices with no power or display, damaged charging circuits, consoles that would no longer start, and computers that had already been opened or worked on elsewhere.
Taking on those difficult repairs helped shape who we are today. We built our reputation by investigating problems properly, explaining things clearly and, most importantly, telling customers the truth about whether something is actually worth repairing. Sometimes the right advice is to repair a device. Sometimes it is to replace it. And sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is point someone in the right direction.
That honesty has always been at the heart of our business.

More than a repair shop
Over the years, Tech Repairs Dundee has grown alongside the customers and businesses we serve.
Today, we repair phones, iPhones, iPads, Samsung devices, Apple Macs, Windows laptops and desktops, gaming PCs, tablets and games consoles, while still taking on many of the complex faults that originally built our reputation.
Our shop has also developed into a complete technology store. We stock a carefully selected range of new and refurbished phones, tablets, laptops and consoles, along with PC components including graphics cards, processors, motherboards, memory, storage, power supplies and accessories.
We also design and build our own gaming PCs, home computers, business systems and high-performance workstations right here in Dundee. Every system we build is assembled, configured and thoroughly tested by our own team. We would rather spend extra time getting something right than send a computer out the door that we would not be happy to use ourselves.

Although technology is what we work with every day, people are the reason we do it.
We know how disruptive it can be when a phone containing years of photographs suddenly stops working, when a student’s laptop fails before an important deadline, when a business computer goes down, or when a gaming PC somebody has saved for develops a fault.
To us, these are never just devices sitting on a workbench. They belong to real people who rely on them.
That is why we try to make every visit straightforward, welcoming and pressure-free. We explain what we find in plain English, discuss the available options and give realistic turnaround times before carrying out work. We have no interest in selling somebody something they do not need.
